Terms of Service
Effective Date: 26 May 2026
Last Updated: 17 June 2026
Version: 1.7
1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Karma PSC Academy's educational services, mock examination systems, assessment papers, communication infrastructure, websites, student dashboards, digital study materials, and all associated platforms operated through karmapsc.com, including the learning portal at karmapsc.com/learn and the link infrastructure at qr.karmapsc.com and any other subdomains operated under karmapsc.com (collectively, "the Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, the User acknowledges having reviewed, understood, and agreed to these Terms in their entirety.
These Terms apply to visitors, registered users, enrolled students, guardians, and any individual interacting with the Platform or its services.
Use of the Platform is also governed by the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference and form part of the binding agreement between the User and KarmaPSC Coaching.
2. Eligibility and Capacity
- Users must possess legal capacity to enter binding agreements under Indian law.
- Users below 18 years of age may enroll only with valid parental or guardian authorization, which must be provided in writing at the time of admission. The guardian co-signs the offline Admission Terms and Conditions and thereby acknowledges both the student's participation and any personal data processing involved.
- Public accounts are available only to users aged 13 or older. Public users under 18 should use the Platform with parent or guardian involvement.
- KarmaPSC Coaching reserves the right to reject or terminate access where eligibility requirements are not satisfied.
3. Educational Services
The Platform may provide:
- Offline classroom coaching for Kerala PSC examinations
- Online mock examinations and assessment papers
- Student dashboards with performance tracking, score recording, and ranking systems
- Digital educational materials and study notes
- Academic communication systems
- QR-code-linked resources, reference links, and content distributed via qr.karmapsc.com
Educational services may evolve, expand, or be modified over time. The Platform supports institute student access and public user access through one Supabase Auth login with separate public and student profile records. Some features may be limited to enrolled students, while public users may access public dashboard, analytics, rankings, and mock test features made available for public accounts.
KarmaPSC Coaching reserves the right to modify course schedules, instructors, academic formats, batch structures, timings, subjects, and platform features with reasonable notice, and will endeavour to complete published syllabi as communicated at the time of admission.
4. Accounts and Authentication
Access to the Platform is provided through Supabase Auth. A single login may have a public profile and, where applicable, a linked official student profile. The profile records remain separate for reporting, retention, and permissions.
- Institute student accounts are personal, non-transferable, and restricted to a single authorized user. Student ID and date of birth may be used as a secure account-claiming or recovery step, but normal ongoing login uses the linked Supabase Auth account.
- Sharing access credentials, session tokens, or authenticated access with other individuals is strictly prohibited.
- Supabase Auth session cookies maintain authenticated access across the Platform and learning portal.
- Registered students can securely link their current Supabase login to one official student record. Once linked, new quiz, learning progress, and analytics writes are saved to the student profile by default.
- Sign-out: To protect account privacy and security, signing out clears Supabase auth cookies.
- Dual Profiles and Public Archiving: A user may have one login with both a public profile and an official student profile. When the student profile is linked, new attempts no longer write to the public attempt tables. Existing public history remains read-only unless the student link is removed.
- Public users aged 13 or older may create a public account using email/password, phone/password, phone-triggered OTP, or Google login through Supabase Auth. Public onboarding requires full name, email, phone number, and agreement to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before protected public dashboard features are unlocked. Email signup requires email confirmation, and users may request confirmation email resends or password reset emails through the public auth interface. Users are responsible for keeping their linked phone numbers up to date if they use them for login.
- Public users may optionally consent to receive course updates, offers, and counselling messages by WhatsApp, phone call, SMS, or email. This promotional consent is not required for public account access and may be withdrawn from public account settings.
- Public account analytics, rankings, and saved mock test attempts are maintained separately from institute student analytics and dashboards.
- Dashboard and analytics views may use short-lived server-side caching, request memoization, route revalidation, and non-blocking analytics refresh queues to keep the Platform fast while preserving current score and ranking records.
- KarmaPSC Coaching reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in credential sharing, unauthorized access attempts, automated abuse, scraping activity, VPN abuse, or any conduct that compromises platform integrity or security.
- Users remain responsible for all activity occurring through their accounts and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access to care@karmapsc.com.
If additional account management systems, payment systems, or public features are introduced, these Terms will be updated to reflect those changes.
5. Offline Coaching Services
All offline coaching services, classroom operations, tuition fees, and associated refunds are exclusively governed by the physical offline Admission Agreement signed at enrollment. These online Terms apply strictly to your use of the digital Platform and its software services.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
KarmaPSC Coaching's refund policy complies with applicable consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to KarmaPSC Coaching administration.
- Withdrawal within 7 days (Cooling-Off Period): If a student withdraws from the course within seven calendar days of joining, KarmaPSC Coaching will retain only the ₹400 registration fee and will refund all other fees paid.
- Withdrawal after 7 days: If withdrawal occurs after seven days but before the end of the course, fees for the unused portion will be refunded on a prorated basis after deducting the ₹400 registration fee and any fees corresponding to services already utilized or educational materials already delivered.
- KarmaPSC Coaching cancellation before commencement: A full refund of all fees paid, including the registration fee, will be issued.
- KarmaPSC Coaching cancellation after commencement: Fees for the unused portion of the course will be refunded on a prorated basis.
Approved refunds will ordinarily be processed within 10 business days through the original payment method or as otherwise agreed, following any necessary verification.
No refund obligation shall arise for:
- disciplinary suspensions or termination for misconduct,
- account abuse or unauthorized credential sharing,
- illegal conduct,
- intellectual-property violations,
- or deliberate misuse of services.
7. User Conduct
Users shall not:

Users receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license solely for personal educational use during the period of active enrollment.
Unauthorized redistribution, reproduction, or commercial exploitation is prohibited and may result in civil or criminal legal action.
10. Communication Platforms
The Platform may utilize WhatsApp Communities, Telegram Channels, email systems, SMS systems, or other communication infrastructure for academic coordination and announcements. WhatsApp Business is used manually for communication and does not involve automated API-based data processing by KarmaPSC Coaching.
Course offers, promotional updates, and counselling outreach to public users by WhatsApp, phone call, SMS, or email are sent only where the user has separately opted in. Users may unsubscribe from optional promotional contact in public account settings or by contacting care@karmapsc.com.
Users remain individually responsible for messages, files, and content posted through communication groups and must comply with applicable laws and community standards.
KarmaPSC Coaching reserves the right to remove users from communication channels for disruptive, abusive, unlawful, or harmful conduct.
Third-party messaging platforms maintain independent privacy practices outside the control of KarmaPSC Coaching. Users should review the privacy policies of those platforms separately.
11. No Guarantee of Results
Educational services are intended solely to assist preparation.
KarmaPSC Coaching does not guarantee:
- examination success,
- specific rankings,
- government employment,
- or admission outcomes.
Academic outcomes depend on numerous external and individual factors beyond institutional control. Any representation of past student success in promotional materials refers to specific individuals and does not constitute a guarantee of similar results for any other student.
12. Platform Availability
Services are provided on an "as available" basis without guarantee of uninterrupted access. Temporary interruptions may occur due to:
- scheduled or emergency maintenance,
- cloud or infrastructure outages,
- cyber-security incidents,
- government restrictions or orders,
- internet service failures,
- power disruptions,
- or third-party infrastructure failures.
KarmaPSC Coaching will make reasonable efforts to restore services promptly but accepts no liability for disruptions caused by factors outside its reasonable control.
13. Platform Infrastructure and Security Processing
The Platform is built on and delivered through multiple infrastructure providers. By using the Platform, the User acknowledges and accepts the technical processing described below, which is necessary for secure and reliable service delivery.
- Cloudflare (CDN, Security, and Routing): All traffic to karmapsc.com and its subdomains, including qr.karmapsc.com, passes through Cloudflare's global network for content delivery, DDoS protection, web application firewall filtering, and security operations. Cloudflare processes IP addresses, request headers, and behavioral signals as part of its services and automatically sets certain strictly necessary cookies (including bot-management and session-integrity cookies) as part of this infrastructure.
- Cloudflare Workers (Routing and Reverse Proxy): Routing rules and reverse proxy configurations are managed via Cloudflare Workers, including the routing that delivers the learning portal at karmapsc.com/learn from Cloudflare Pages infrastructure.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (Contact Form Security): The contact form on the Platform uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving bot detection mechanism. Turnstile processes device signals, IP address metadata, and behavioral information solely to distinguish human users from automated bots. Turnstile is activated only when the User opens the contact form and does not operate passively on page load. No persistent tracking cookie is set by Turnstile; this processing is strictly necessary for the security of the contact form feature.
- Vercel (Web Hosting): The main website is hosted on Vercel's edge infrastructure, which processes incoming request data including IP addresses and request headers for operational and security purposes.
- Cloudflare Pages (Learning Portal Hosting): The learning portal at karmapsc.com/learn is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
- Cloudflare Email Routing: Email communications directed to care@karmapsc.com are received and forwarded through Cloudflare's email routing infrastructure.
- Supabase (Authentication and Database): Student data operations, public email/password login, Google OAuth session handling, email confirmation and password reset token flows, public profile storage, session authentication, and structured analytics data storage are managed through Supabase infrastructure.
- Resend SMTP (Transactional Email): Public account confirmation and password reset messages may be delivered through Resend SMTP. These emails are operational security messages and are not promotional messages.
- Amazon Web Services — Mumbai Region (Cloud Infrastructure): Cloud hosting infrastructure is operated in the AWS Mumbai region.
- Google Firebase (Offline Receipt Management): Used for our internal administrative offline receipt and bill generator app. Offline student payment data and receipt numbers are securely uploaded to Firebase Firestore and Storage, accessible exclusively to authorized administrators.
All infrastructure providers operate under contractual data processing restrictions and are prohibited from independently exploiting user data for unrelated commercial purposes. Full details are available in the Privacy Policy.
14. QR Code Links and Shortened URLs
KarmaPSC Coaching operates qr.karmapsc.com as a link and QR code infrastructure subdomain used to distribute reference links, resource links, and content in academic materials. These links are shared directly and embedded in QR codes.
By following a link through qr.karmapsc.com, the User may be redirected to pages within the Platform or to external resources. All traffic through this subdomain passes through Cloudflare's infrastructure. Analytics data may be recorded through the Platform's standard analytics systems where analytics consent has been granted by the User.
15. Student Testimonials and Promotions
KarmaPSC Coaching may highlight student success stories in promotional materials. Any use of a student's name, photograph, rank, or success details in advertising will be subject to the student's explicit written consent obtained after their success.
Promotional content will clearly state factual details including the course attended and will not misrepresent the circumstances of any student's success. KarmaPSC Coaching will not use any student's likeness or success story in a misleading manner, in compliance with applicable advertising standards and consumer protection guidelines.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KarmaPSC Coaching shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, speculative, punitive, or special damages arising from use of the Platform or educational services.
Aggregate liability, where legally established, shall not exceed the total fees paid by the User to KarmaPSC Coaching during the preceding three-month period.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liabilities that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Indian law, including rights available under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
17. Student Indemnity
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless KarmaPSC Coaching and its owners, staff, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from breach of these Terms or misuse of Platform services, including any legal costs incurred in enforcing these Terms.
18. Force Majeure
KarmaPSC Coaching shall not be liable for delays, disruptions, or inability to provide services caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:
- natural disasters,
- pandemics or public health emergencies,
- PSC examination postponements or government schedule changes,
- cyberattacks,
- internet or telecommunications outages,
- cloud-service provider failures,
- government actions or orders,
- civil unrest,
- or infrastructure breakdowns.
19. Changes to Terms
The Platform may update these Terms periodically.
Material modifications affecting user rights, refunds, processing activities, fee structures, infrastructure disclosures, or core operational practices will be communicated through dashboard notices, email, WhatsApp, Telegram, or other official channels, and may require renewed acknowledgment before continued use.
Continued use of services after implementation of updated Terms constitutes acknowledgment of and agreement to revised policies.
20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, along with the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.
Grievances or disputes relating specifically to the protection of personal data are governed by the DPDPA, 2023 and the statutory framework thereunder, and users have the right to register a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India (DPBI) regarding unresolved grievances.
Subject to rights available under consumer protection laws (including the right to approach appropriate consumer dispute redressal forums) and statutory data protection frameworks (such as the DPBI), the courts located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, shall possess exclusive jurisdiction over all other disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms.
21. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the User and KarmaPSC Academy regarding use of the Platform. Any waiver or modification of these Terms must be in writing and authorized by KarmaPSC Coaching. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force.
